Soft Tissue and Bone Sarcomas
Soft tissue sarcomas can develop in soft tissues like fat, muscle, nerves, fibrous tissues, blood vessels, or deep skin tissues. They can be found in any part of the body. Soft-tissue sarcomas are extremely rare tumors. Bone sarcomas are tumours belonging to the family of mesenchymal tumours and constitute a highly heterogeneous tumour group. The three main bone sarcomas are osteosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma and chondrosarcoma each subdivided in diverse histological entities. Bone and soft-tissue sarcomas are relatively rare tumors both in children and adults.Journal key Highlights
