Archives of Interdisciplinary Education invites the submission of original research articles, theoretical discussions, case studies, and review papers that contribute to the field of interdisciplinary education. The journal is dedicated to exploring innovative teaching methods, curriculum design, and cross-disciplinary learning strategies that enhance educational experiences. Authors should adhere to the following submission guidelines to ensure the timely processing of manuscripts.
Manuscript Submission:
Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format. Submissions must be made through the journal’s online submission portal or sent to the editorial office at [email protected]. A cover letter is required with each submission, outlining the manuscript's significance, confirming its originality, and stating that it is not under consideration elsewhere. All co-authors must approve the final version before submission.
Article Types:
The journal accepts various article types, including original research articles, review articles, case studies, theoretical discussions, and empirical studies. Authors should ensure that their submissions fit within the scope of the journal, which emphasizes interdisciplinary education across a wide range of academic and professional disciplines.
Manuscript Structure:
Manuscripts should follow the structure outlined below:
Title Page: Include the manuscript title, full names and affiliations of all authors, and the corresponding author's contact information.
Abstract: A structured abstract (150-250 words) should summarize the study’s purpose, methodology, key findings, and implications.
Keywords: Provide 5-10 keywords that are relevant to the research topic.
Introduction: Describe the background, objectives, and rationale of the study, clearly stating the research question or hypothesis.
Literature Review: If applicable, provide an overview of relevant literature that contextualizes the study and outlines the theoretical framework.
Methodology: Include a detailed description of the research design, participants, materials, and data collection methods. For empirical studies, specify the statistical techniques and analysis tools used.
Results: Present the findings clearly, using tables, figures, and graphs where necessary to support the text.
Discussion: Interpret the results, comparing them with previous studies and discussing their implications for interdisciplinary education.
Conclusion: Summarize the main findings, suggest directions for future research, and highlight the practical applications of the study.
References: Cite all sources in APA format. Ensure that references are accurate and up-to-date.
Figures and Tables:
Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively and referred to in the text. High-resolution images must be submitted separately in JPEG or TIFF format. Each figure and table should have a clear caption, and authors should ensure that all necessary permissions for reproduction of copyrighted material are obtained.
Ethical Considerations:
Authors must ensure that their research adheres to ethical standards, particularly when involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data. An ethics statement should be included, along with information about institutional approval if relevant. Informed consent must be obtained for studies involving human participants.
Peer-Review Process:
All manuscripts are subject to a double-blind peer review process. Authors can expect initial feedback within 4 to 6 weeks. Revisions may be requested before the manuscript is accepted for publication.
Copyright and Open Access:
Upon acceptance, authors will transfer copyright to the journal. Articles are published under an open-access model, ensuring free and unrestricted access for all readers.
Publication Fees:
A processing fee of $1019 is applicable upon acceptance of the manuscript. Authors facing financial challenges may request a waiver or reduction of the fee.
