Instructions for Authors
Journal of Brain Science and Mental Health invites researchers and practitioners to submit original research articles, reviews, and case studies in accordance with the journal’s scope. Authors must follow the submission guidelines outlined below to ensure a smooth review and publication process.
Submission Guidelines:
Manuscripts must be submitted electronically in Microsoft Word format through the journal’s online submission system. Each submission must include a cover letter specifying the corresponding author’s details. All manuscripts should be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
The corresponding author is responsible for confirming that all co-authors approve the final manuscript before submission. Manuscripts that do not adhere to the journal’s formatting and ethical guidelines may be returned for revision before review.
Article Types:
- Research Articles: Original studies presenting experimental, clinical, or theoretical findings in neuroscience and mental health.
- Review Articles: Comprehensive analyses of existing literature, summarizing current knowledge and future directions in the field.
- Case Studies: Detailed reports of unique or rare clinical cases that provide new insights into mental health conditions and treatments.
- Short Communications: Brief reports on novel methodologies, preliminary findings, or emerging research directions.
Manuscript Structure:
- Title Page: Includes the article title, full author names, institutional affiliations, and contact information.
- Abstract: A concise summary (150-250 words) outlining the research objectives, methods, key findings, and conclusions.
- Keywords: 5-10 relevant keywords for indexing and discoverability.
- Introduction: Background information, problem statement, objectives, and significance of the research.
- Materials and Methods: Detailed description of experimental design, methodologies, and data analysis techniques.
- Results: Presentation of findings with supporting tables and figures.
- Discussion: Interpretation of results, comparison with existing literature, and implications for future research.
- Conclusion: Summary of key findings and recommendations for further study.
- References: Citations formatted according to APA or Harvard style.
Peer Review Process:
All manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Authors can expect initial feedback within four weeks. Revisions may be required before final acceptance, ensuring the publication of high-quality research.
Copyright and Open Access:
Upon acceptance, authors transfer the copyright to the journal. Articles are published under an open-access model, ensuring broad accessibility and impact.
Publication Fees:
A processing fee of $1019 applies to accepted articles. Authors facing financial constraints may apply for a waiver or fee reduction.
