Journal of Computational Mathematics (JCM) is the first Chinese mathematics journal founded by Professor Feng Kang. As the flagship scientific computing journal in China, JCM covers all branches of modern computational mathematics such as numerical linear algebra, numerical optimization, computational geometry, numerical PDEs, and inverse problems. Typically, the term refers to the use of computers to perform duplication or numerical analysis of a scientific system or process. It is also called as scientific computing/scientific computation (SC), is a rapidly developing branch of applied computer science and mathematics that uses advanced computing capabilities to understand and solve complex problems. It is an area of science which space many methods, but at its core, it involves the development of models and simulations to understand natural systems. Algorithms (numerical and non-numerical): mathematical models, computational models, and computer simulations developed to solve science (e.g., biological, physical, and social), engineering, and humanities problems. Computer hardware that increase and optimizes the advanced system hardware, firmware, networking, and data management components needed to solve computationally demanding problems. The computing framework that supports both the science and engineering problem solving and the developmental computer and information science.
